Meet The Team
Ella Rudkin is currently a third-year Mechanical Engineering student who is very passionate about the themed entertainment industry. She was TPEG's previous social chair and is now serving her role as President. She has worked at Cedar Point as a ride operator on Magnum from 2020-2022 and interned as a Ride Mechanic in Maintenance during Summer 2023 on multiple coasters at Cedar Point. Ella is a part of this club because of the friendships and opportunities that have guided her towards her dreams outside of college. "Each one of these people are my family and I’m forever grateful for the connections I have made." Ella hopes to work within the industry after she graduates.

Entertainment Design and Technology
Andrew Yates is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at OSU with a minor study in Entertainment Design and Technology. He was previously TPEG's Industry Chair but now he is excited to act as Vice President and Project Manager of TPEG; he also helped on our SITE event development team. He can’t wait to start multiple unique projects with the organization this year. Andrew’s goal is to work in themed attraction design. His favorite dark ride is Amazing Adventures of Spiderman at Islands of Adventure.
Tyler is a second-year Operations Management student. Tyler loves the industry; Summer 2023 he interned in Guest Experience Operations at Cedar Point, and he has attended the IAPPA Conference in Orlando in the past. Tyler joined TPEG, "to learn and build more connections and relationships in an industry I care so much about." His goal is to work in the Operations Department at the Universal Orlando Resort.
Sydrah is a third-year Landscape Architect student with a minor in Business. Previously, she was on our SITE event development team. She has already had some experience in the industry; she has worked for Cedar Point for 4 years and this summer interned in an Area Development role for Universal Creative. "I want to work and be apart of this industry and TPEG is a great start when you’re not sure what to do first. I hope to help design the master planning or area development for theme park expansions or new theme parks."
Industrial and Systems Engineering
Stephanie is a fourth-year Industrial and Systems Engineering major. She has previously served as Media Chair for the past 2.5 years. "I remember going to Disney World for the first time when I was 9 years old and how welcomed I felt, which I continue to appreciate with theme parks in travel to now." Stephanie is in this club because she enjoys getting to know people with similar interests and learning more about the themed entertainment industry. She hopes to eventually work as an industrial engineer or project manager in the themed entertainment industry.
Audrey is a second-year Mechanical Engineering major, previously helping out with the E-board position last year and is now happy to serve as Media Chair. Audrey has loved going to theme parks her whole life and has always been interested in the development of them. TPEG was the perfect opportunity; she has made so many friendships and connections with people who love the same things as her as well as people who want to be involved in the industry. Last year she was on the Show Programming Team for TPEG's annual Light up the Lake, our 2023 TPEG Alumni Competition Team, and has attended the IAPPA conference in Orlando. She is not quite sure what she would like to specialize in, but she hopes to make a career in the themed entertainment industry.
Arianna is a second-year Mechanical Engineering major. She grew up going to the Disney Parks on vacations and became a massive Disney fan. She recently completed the Disney College Program in Spring 2023 and possesses two Mouseters and a Ducktorate from her experience. Arianna was involved in entertainment during high school through theater and worked on Light Up the Lake 2022. She enjoys being a part of TPEG because of the fun opportunities to learn about the themed entertainment industry. Arianna hopes to work in the industry as a Disney Imagineer and work in concept or show development.
Ryan is a second-year mechanical engineering major here at Ohio State. He has always had a passion for the themed entertainment industry ever since he was little. "Having the opportunity to visit amusement parks and theme parks such as Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Disney World has created a spark to learn more about the themed entertainment industry and how engineering is capable of creating many of the unique experiences that we know and love." In an effort to learn more about this, Ryan joined TPEG and has met several people with the same interests and has created his closest friendships. "Not only has TPEG become a great place for socializing but has also become a fantastic resource for professional development; there is an abundance of resources to help my dreams become a reality. From professional development meetings with industry leaders to our annual SITE event, TPEG strives to assist in building your career and future. TPEG has continued to provide a tightly knit community of talented students aspiring to chase their dreams and I cannot wait to see how TPEG grows over the years." He hopes to make a career in themed entertainment.
